LET’S INNOVATE!
We are now beginning a new decade in a new century, and that’s
not all that is new.
Our Chapter’s forthcoming annual Product Show and Education
day is entitled “Innovation in Construction.” New
products; information regarding new code requirements; and new
design and construction industry product representatives are all
available to you, if you attend this event, which takes place
on Tuesday, February 9th. It will be held at the Holiday Inn Newtown
Road, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Be sure to put in on your calendars
now. (Best of all, the exhibits and lunch are free!)
Most of the featured seminars at the Product Show, offered at
a nominal charge, but with AIA continuing education credits, will
be those which were originally planned for September 30, 2009,
our “Take the Hard out of Hardware” education day.
This is a second chance to sharpen your skills related to the
intricacies of this critical subject, for anyone involved in building
design and construction. See the schedule of seminar tracks and
registration information, elsewhere in this issue of The Communicator.
In the meantime, I hope to see you at our next Chapter meeting
on Tuesday January 12th, at the offices of Clark Nexsen Architects
and Engineers.
