Chapter Lunch Program

Pervious Concrete,
A Value Added Product

Storm water runoff is the single largest contributing pollutant to many waterways. In our designs for large buildings roofs are the biggest culprit, a parking garage under the building just doesn’t work so you are stuck with a parking lot which just added to the problem. The environmental guy at the State says you need a BMP Pond but you don’t have room for that and a parking lot. Your developer and Owner is also concerned about cost. What do you do?

How ‘bout turning that parking lot into a BMP!

Bill Denison of Titan Concrete will offer a solution that when properly placed, it absorbs storm water and can dramatically reduce pollution of rivers and streams.

Come and join your fellow construction professionals in the exploration of “Sustainable Products and Services in our Backyard” with an exploration of a new paving material now available in our area to benefit the “Green” aspect of your civil and infrastructure projects, and the environment as a whole.
